“Tales of the Brave”: exhibition of youth initiatives from Ukraine
In 2025, Ukraine marked thirty years of membership in the Council of Europe. As part of this milestone, the European Youth Foundation presented the exhibition “Tales of the Brave”, highlighting youth initiatives supported through its Special Call for Ukraine.
The exhibition will highlight 15 projects created by young people who continue to build connections, support their communities, and show resilience in difficult times.
KFUM Central’s Project at the Exhibition
We are proud that KFUM Central’s project “United Rising to New Horizons” will be featured as part of this exhibition.
Our project supported 23 young Ukrainian refugees in Sweden through 14 workshops and activities focusing on leadership, mental health, public speaking, and cultural integration. These sessions helped participants grow in confidence, strengthen communication skills, and feel more at home in a new environment. Many of them expressed a desire to share their new knowledge with their schools, friends, and communities.
We are truly happy that our work will be recognised within such a meaningful European exhibition, celebrating the strength, courage, and potential of young people from Ukraine.
